Year 2015-present

My current painting stems from the need to transcend the figurative rigor of my early work, tied to the faithful reproduction of reality, to achieve a more intimate artistic identity, free from formal constraints.
While remaining anchored to the floral theme, an inexhaustible source of beauty, stimulation, and emotion, and to a respect for the chromatic dynamics of light, my creative process today relies on a plastic gesture: fluid, energetic, and immediate. This approach leaves ample room for the unpredictability of chance, transforming the canvas into a mirror of my deepest feelings, which manifest and materialize during the pictorial gesture, giving the viewer an experience of wonder and harmony.
Technically, my research is enriched with the use of fluorescent acrylic pigments, which give the work a dual visual value thanks to their reaction to ultraviolet (UV) light. Finally, the resin sealing adds depth and brilliance, enhancing the chromatic vivacity and aesthetic impact of the composition.
